Project of Bussiness Communication Assignment - Web Based Promotion

          Now, i'm going to promote my community. It's about Open Recruitment for Economics Debaters Club / EDC in my beloved FE Unsoed.

Before going to far, i will give a lil bit explanations about what actually the EDC it self.

          EDC is a Debate Club under one of the Student Unit Activity in FE Unsoed, which is EFEC (Economic Faculty English Club) and manage under Talent Department. EDC already built more than 10 years before. Now, we already got many achievement in Debating Championship, whether it's regional, national or even international level.

          In the beginning of December this year, we will conduct Open Recruitment for all the collegians in FE Unsoed, lifting 2011-2013, for who wanna join in our Big Familly of EDC!!!

         This is your chance to be part of our Big Family on EDC in new period. You will get more than experiences! Firts beneficial. Here, Speak English will be your HABITTUAL. Everyday we'll training and this training will always consist of Speech in front of people. On this thing, you'll get the most important thing for you future, which Public Speaking Skill. You'll really need this everytime and everywhere, right?

We brave to deliver our arguments to persue the judges

          Second beneficial. Debate is not talking about individualism, debate is talking about TEAM WORK. Debate always consist of teams in every competition. Team work skill is number one here. Because we are always traying on how to divide the arguments under the team, use our critical thinking with our teammate until win the competition!

Well-teamwork is our principles to win the competition!

          Experiences? Yes, joining EDC absolutely you will get your unforgettable experiences. World is waiting us! We cannot only statisfy with joining only in local or regional level, we are trying to go out of our city and go overseas! To enhace your skill and experiences, we always open the opportunity for you who wanna achieve more experiences outside ;)

         and most important thing, you will get warmest familiarity here. Such your second family after your own family. We are always taking time together, whether for training, hangout or holiday evenmore. You will know, how to achieve many achievements and experiences under the warm-togetherness.

Lead people? Try to lead myself before.

Terbilang lebay memang kalo sampe sekarang gue masih belum percaya aja bisa jadi Project Officer dalam sebuah acara yang cukup besar di fakultas gue. Pengalaman selama ini gak jauh-jauh selalu jadi Divisi Acara dimanapun itu. Bukannya sombong, tapi karena gue comfortnya disitu. Gue masih jauh dari kata seorang konseptor ataupun seorang berjiwa seni sih, tapi gue ngerasa seneng aja dengan rempongnya ala anak-anak acara. Mehehe. Yap! Terlalu comfort di satu bidang dan ga berani nyoba bidang lain, menurut gue useless aja sih. Ada sebuah quote yang selalu stuck di otak gue : "If you want to success more, out from your comfort zone!" 

Okay, i'm trying now.

Ngerasa gak jago di bidang perkuliahan namun harus tetap tanggung jawab dengan jurusan yang sudah dipilih, ngebuat gue cari-cari kesibukan supaya gue betah disini dan menghasilkan sesuatu hal berharga yang lebih dari hal perkuliahan. Alhasil gue coba kegiatan ini itu tanpa mengenyampingkan kuliah gue tentunya. Hampir satu tahun menjalani kepengurusan di sebuah UKM bernama EFEC (Economic Faculty English Club), akhirnya gue dipercaya jadi Project Officer / Ketua Panitia acara yang cukup besar, yang termasuk dalam program kerja EFEC itu sendiri. Yaitu EFEC Vaganza 2013. Perlombaan Bahasa Inggris terbesar se-FE Unsoed dan juga perayaan ulang tahun EFEC, dengan segala konsep baru didalamnya.

Memberanikan diri ikutan interview, memilih tim sesuai kepercayaan gue, hingga akhirnya terbentuklah sebuah tim cucok yang gue punya saat ini.

Adalah orang-orang terpilih yang kita (gue & EFEC's Stirring Committee) percaya bisa bekerjasama dengan baik sama gue, sampai acara berakhir dan tentunya dibantu peran para staff mereka yang ga kalah pentingnya buat gue.

Yap! I believe my team.
Memang perjalanan kita menuju acara masih lumayan jauh. Tapi, disini gue udah belajar banyak untuk leading sebuah kepanitian. Belajar memimpin diri sendiri sebelum memimpin orang lain. Bertemu orang-orang dengan berbagai maca perilaku, dari yang ngebuat seneng, bangga, terharu, kesel sampai cuma bisa bikin gue ngelus dada, kumplit plit plit ada disini. Kecewa memberi kepercayaan sama mereka? BIG NO. Gue percaya, wether kesuksesan atau masalah pasti ada di setiap kepanitian, itulah materi yang harus kita ambil, sebagai bonus dari sebuah pengalaman. 

Banyak harapan gue untuk kesuksesan acara ini. Sama seperti PO yang lain, pengennya kepanitiaan mulus dan acara sukses. Yap! I hope so. Tapi apapun yang tim gue lakukan nantinya, gue percaya, itu bukan untuk kebaikan gue, kebaikan mereka, ataupun kebaikan EFEC doang. Tapi buat kebaikan semua.

Keep spirit my team! Our journey still far away in front of us. And become closer day by day. Sorry if so far i bad on leading all of you guys, but now i'm still trying to lead my self before i'm leading my team. I will give my best effort for this event as the best as i can. Sip sip?
